THE SHIFT is a non-profit organization of writers and creative professionals, seeking mass changes to social reform for underserved communities impacted by race, class, and economic inequality.
The main objective of THE SHIFT is to address social justice reform in the modern era that has led to an overabundance of people from underserved communities imprisoned globally. Some individuals remain incarcerated, despite paying their debt to society, owing to the political influence and monetary advantages of the Prison Industrial complex (PIC).
Our goal is to assist as many individuals and organizations explicitly from these areas, offering tailored literary services specifically as a tool for counteraction in reducing the effects of recidivism.
